Mango Salsa
Sweet, tangy, spicy and colorful, this salsa is a real fiesta in a bowl! It doesn't require any cooking, and goes particularly well with salmon or grilled chicken.
Plank Grilled Salmon
Soak a cedar plank in water overnight. Preheat your grill, then place the plank on it for 5 minutes. Flip the plank over and put the salmon on it. Close the lid and grill for 15 to 20 minutes depending on the thickness.
Steamed Broccoli
For perfect crunchy steamed broccoli, bring 1" of water to a boil in a stock pot fitted with a steamer basket. Add broccoli florets, close the lid and steam for 4 minutes.
Black Rice
Prepare black rice by adding 1 cup of rice to a saucepan with 2 cups of lightly salted water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Lower the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. Drain excess water if any.
